Check-in was a hot mess. The staff seemed lost, and double charges made my wallet cry. Plus, the outside needed some serious TLC—looked like it hadn’t seen a paintbrush in ages!

It was just an optimal selection for a momentary pause in Kalamazoo, great for the money. The free breakfast offered scrambled eggs and waffles, which were a nice touch. Be prepared for potential noise from neighboring rooms.

I stayed in a cute little room, but it was definitely showing its age. The rug was torn and the ceiling had tacks all over. Missing light fixtures and random dust on the sheets were weird. The mattress had no protection, which felt gross. I also noticed chipping paint, and there were spiders in the couch when I got in. Just not the best experience overall!
